Environment Support Group (ESG) has been awarded the 2012 UN-Water "Water for Life" Best Practices Award in a ceremony held at the headquarters of the Food and Agriculture Organisation, Rome on 22 March 2012, World Water Day.
Environment Support Group in coordination with Karnataka State Council for Science and Technology and Dalit Sangharsh Samiti organised a workshop on "Access to safe Water: Challenges and Opportunities" on 14.3. 2013 at Mavallipura, on the occasion of the International Day of Action for Rivers.
