the BMICP expressway will run alongside their house.

BMICP
project promoter, NICE Ltd. has been empowered to desilt tanks within
5 kilometers on either side of the expressway, to use the silt for embankments.
This raises serious questions about access to basic resources such
as tank water, and silt as farm fertiliser, by the farmers and villagers
of the region.
